Gertrude Marie "Gerry" Seelye

Gertrude Marie "Gerry" Seelye, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of New Wilmington, PA, passed away of natural causes in Myrtle Beach. She was 97.She was born on Jan. 10, 1920, in Cleveland, OH, to Clarence E and Helen A. (Russell) Ryder. Mrs. Seelye was the widow of Owen E. Seelye, whom she married on March 1, 1943. Mr. Seelye died on June 3, 1987. In her early years, she enjoyed playing cards and raising golden retrievers. In her last years, she enjoyed spending time with her dogs Jaz and Phoebe along with watching birds. Surviving is her daughter, Patricia Sarver, of Maine, her grandchildren, Bobby Belotti and his wife Chrissie, of Masury, OH, Maria Belotti, of Myrtle Beach, Tori, Annie and Patrick Sarver, all of Maine, as well as several great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be grealy missed. Donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society of Mercer Co., 29 Vine Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.
