George A Pawlowski

George A. Pawlowski, of Hermitage, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 4:35 p.m. , in Sharon Regional Health System, after an extended illness. He was 83.
George was born in Sharon, PA on May 5, 1932, the son of the late Henry and Catherine (Bryan) Pawlowski. He was a 1949 graduate of Sharon High School and went on to serve his country from 1953-1955 in the U.S. Army. He then went on to earn an accounting degree in 1958 from Youngstown State University. George enjoyed watching tennis matches. He was a member of the Church of The Notre Dame in Hermitage.
George had worked as Field Auditor/Agent at Internal Revinue Service for several years. He was the widower of Geraldine (Milankovich) Pawlowski. whom he married on Sept. 26, 1959. She died on Oct. 10, 2013. He is survived by his two sons, Brian M. Pawlowski of New Hope, PA., and Gary J. Pawlowski, and his wife, Krista, of Reynoldsburg, OH, along with his two grandsons, Daniel J. and Ty R. Pawlowski.

Private family visitation will take place on Friday . July 17, 2015 at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146 .
Private funeral services on Friday, at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, Hermitage. with Rev. Jeffrey Noble, Church of the Notre Dame, officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
