Frances L. Sloan

Frances L. Plance Sloan, age 79, of Sharon, PA., passed away on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018, unexpectedly at her residence. Born June 1st, 1939 in Weirton, West Virginia , she was the daughter of the late George A. and Dorothy K. Ewaskey Plance.
Frances graduated from Weirton High School and was a Homemaker. She was a former member of Sharpsville Methodist Church.
Frances is survived by a daughter Vikki Spencer of Sharpsville, Pa. four sons,  Steve Sloan of Cranberry Twp. PA, Mike Sloan of Hermitage, PA, Jim Sloan of Cortland, Ohio and Jon Sloan of Frackville, PA, six grandchildren, Amanda Pinter of Hubbard, OH, Chelsea Masotto of Sharon, PA, Nathan Sloan of Cranberry Twp. PA, Cody Sloan of Hermitage, PA, Jacob Sloan of Cortland, OH, and Glenn Sloan of Sharon, PA, one sister Roberta Porterfield of Sharon, PA, and a brother George Plance of Florida. She was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur and Michael Plance and a sister Edna Davis.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or service. The family is planning a Memorial Lunch for friends and family on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the MCHA Community Building at 179 Pearrell Drive, Sharon, Pa.
