Eva Wansor, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Monday, Feb 15, 2016, at 1:22 a.m., in Sharon Regional Health System, after a brief illness. She was 96.
Eva was born in Sharon, PA on December 19, 1919, the daughter of the late Frank T. and Mary (Tremmell) Bayer. She was a 1937 graduate of Sharon High School.
She had worked as a dietician at the former Sharon General Hospital Sharon, PA, for over 30 years.
Eva was a member of the local Mother of Twins group. She was an avid reader who liked to crochete, knit, do crossword puzzles, and spend time with her family. She was of the Nazarene faith.
She was the widow of Collin F. Wansor, whom she married on Oct. 24, 1942. He died May 6, 1993. She is survived by her three daughters, Pam Orlosky and her husband, Edward, of Farrell, PA, twins, Janet Kotlarz and her husband, Mark, of Sharon, PA, and Janice Krauss and her husband, Robert, of West Middlesex PA, and two sons, Dr. C. Terry Wansor and his wife, Nancy, of Greensburg, PA, and Jeff Wansor, of Masury, OH along with nine grandchildren, Lynna Thomas and her husband John, Janeen Osselborn and her husband Eric, Chuck Wansor and his wife, Debbie, Patrick Wansor and his wife, Candice, Eddie Orlosky, Tammy Mosley and her husband, Scott, Randy Krauss and his wife Amy, Dustin Stout and his wife, Catarina, and Dylan Kotlarz and 10 great-grandchildren, Will and Molly Thomas, Sasha Dombrosky, Jillian, Gabriel, and Weston Wannsor, Collin and Ella Krauss, Judah and Micah Stout. Also surviving are her three sisters, Theresa DeGerlamo, Marianne Bonnani, and Frances Benes, all of Hermitage, PA, and her brother, Nickie Bayer, of S. Pymatuning twp., PA
Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Private visitation will take place on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
