Emily M. Ashby, of Clepper Manor, 959 East State Street, Sharon passed away peacefully at 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 74 .
Emily was born in Cortland, Ohio on November 18, 1938. She enjoyed cooking, watching TV, listening to music, and talking on the C.B. radio under the handle of "Rubber Ducky".
She was the widow of William Ashby. She is survived by numerous friends including Estella Watkins and Norma Root both of Sharon, PA and her fiance', William Diekbrader, also of Sharon.
At her request there will be no calling hour or services. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Hermitage.
