Dwight Seeley

Dwight A. Seeley, of Hermitage, PA, passed away peacefully in his home , surrounded by his family, on Wed., Aug. 19, 2015, at 1:06 a.m., after a brief illness. He was 93.
Dwight was born in Greenville, PA on July 6, 1922, the son of the late Altamont and Mabel (McCall) Seeley. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1940 and attended Youngstown State University, where he was an accounting major.
Dwight began his career with Westinghouse Electric in Sharon in the accounting department in December of 1944 retiring as a factory accountant in 1982.
He was a longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church Sharon, PA. He also was a member of the B.P.O.E Lodge of Greenville, and F. & A. M. # 810 of Hermitage, each for over 60 years. Dwight enjoyed golfing, landscaping around his house, old cars, and big band music. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was the husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Fair) Seeley. whom he married on Oct. 1, 1949. She survives at home. He is also survived by his daughter, Leslie Engelmeier, and her husband , Kevin, of Wexford, PA,
his two sons, Dwight "Chip" Seeley, and his wife, Pam, of Dublin, OH., and Kevin Seeley of Hermitage, PA, along with his grandchildren, Erica and Alex Seeley. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clair, Lloyd, and James Seeley and a sister, Dorothy Peronteau.

A Gathering Time will be held on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, from noon till 2:00 p.m., at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146. Masonic burial rites will be presented at 1:45 p.m. by F. & A.M. #810 , of Hermitage.
Memorial Service at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22nd, with Pastor Marsha Green (family friend) officiating.
Cremation services provided by the funeral home.
