Dorothy Marie Jones

Dorothy Marie Jones, of 719 Crestview Drive, Sharpsville, PA passed away peacefully in her residence on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at 9:45 p.m. after a brief illness. She was 99.
Dorothy was born in Woodlawn, PA on July 31, 1913, the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Doyle) Barnes. She was a 1931 graduate of Hickory High School and was a member of Hartford Community Church, Hartford, OH. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, and taking care of her family.
She was the widow of William T. Jones. whom she married on May 13, 1939. He died on January 14, 1991.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane M. Hardin and her husband, H. David Hardin, of Transfer, PA, along with her grandson, David W. Hardin and his wife, Ashley , also of Transfer, PA and a great-granddaughter, MiKayla Renae Hardin. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceeded in death by two sisters, Hazel B. Palmer and Ellen M. Boldizar and three brothers, William T., Earl S., and Harlen Barnes.
Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

At her request there will be no calling hours or services. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
