Doris Elinore Sternthal

Doris " Elinore " Sternthal, age 80, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Friday, September 21st, 2018 at her residence. Born April 12th, 1938 in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Grace Maddocks Horne. She married Stephen L. Sternthal on September 7th, 1957 and he survives at home.
Elinore was a 1956 graduate of Sharpsville High School and spent most of her life as a hommaker. Among her hobbies were computers, crocheting afgans and knitting.
She was a former member of First Methodist Church of Sharpsville and a current member of Clark Trinty Methodist Church where she produced the monthly newsletter.
Elinore is survived by a daughter Kim Sternthal of Polk, Pa. and a son Stephen W. Sternthal of Hermitage, PA, three grandchildren and two great grand-children.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Steven Horne and a sister Virginia Mosley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 5:00 pm til 7:00 pm at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 East Street, Sharon, PA, 16146. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Earl Butterfield   officiating. Burial will be in Morefield Cemetery.
