Doris Marie Kloos, of Greenville, formerly of S. Buhl Farm Dr., Hermitage, PA, passed away on Sat., Jan. 27, 2018, surrounded by family, at St. Paul's Continuing Care Community in Greenville. She was 98.
Doris was born in Dubois, PA on September 6, 1919, the daughter of the late Leo and Phyllis (Speigelhalter) Quinn. She graduated from Farrell High School in 1938.
In her younger years, she had worked as receptionist at the former Malleable Works and at the former Columbia Theater in Sharon.
She enjoyed playing cards, reading, and traveling, spending the winters in Florida. Doris loved to spend time with her family. She was a member of the Church of Notre Dame.
On Feb. 3, 1951, she married Frederick W. Kloos. He died Oct. 29, 1999. Doris is survived by her nieces, Diane Vranich of Hermitage, PA, Phyllis Parkinson of Masury, OH, Christine Rook, of El Paso, TX, and Gail Reed of North Carolina. Several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews also survive. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline Weyer, Virginia Cantelupe, Dorothy Barnes, Phyllis Bastide, a brother, George Quinn, nieces Darlene Hildebran, Jenny Brockway, Donna Bastide, Janet Esmond, and nephews, William Quinn, Dan & Don Weyer, Lee Barnes and Leo Bastide.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Ridgewood Shenango Valley and at the Villas of St. Paul's CCC for their excellent care of Doris.

At her request there will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage. at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2nd, with Fr.
