Doris L. DiClaudio, age 79, of 8221 Lamor Road, Mercer, PA formerly of Hermitage,PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 3:15 p.m. in Sharon Regional Health System, after an extended illness..
Doris was born in Hagerstown, MD on April 11, 1933, the daughter of the late Arthur and Emily (Armstrong) Stephey. She was a graduate of Sharon High School. She enjoyed cooking, singing gospel music, and attending church functions. She was of the Christian faith.
Her surivivors include her daughters, Cindy Gavala of Hermitage,PA, .Lori Clarke and her husband, Greg, of Hermitage,PA. and sons, Joseph DiClaudio and his wife, Denise, of Ft. Myers, FL., Mark DiClaudio and his wife, Cyndi,of Warren,OH and her 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Allison, Adam, Nathan, Gary, Jennifer, and Kayla. Also surviving are her brothers, Rodney and Richard Stephey. Besides her parents, she was preceeded in death by her daughter, Linda DiClaudio, her grandson, Joshua Landis, and her brother, Donald Stephey.
Friends are invited to call from on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home 264 East State Street, Sharon, PA 16146.
Funeral service on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA with Rev. Christopher W. Mathewson, pastor of Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church officating.. Interment at Morefield Cemetery in Hermitage, PA
