Donna J. Rambeck

Donna J. Rambeck, of Hermitage, formerly of Trumbull Dr., Sharon, PA passed away peacefully on  Sunday, April 15, 2018, at John XXIII in Hermitage, after a brief illness. She was 91.
Donna was born in Grand Forks, ND on September 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Clyde and Helga (Mathiason) Holliday.
Before getting married,, she had worked as a registered nurse. Donna had been an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels and  had volunteered for the former Sharon Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in  Sharon where she  belonged to the quilting group and it's Women's Association.
Donna married Stanton D. Rambeck on June 12, 1947. He died on February 5th of this year.  Surviving are three daughters, Joan Harkulich and her husband John, of Syracuse, NY, Linda Braymer and her husband Jim, of Sharon, PA, and Janet Barretta and her husband Gary, of Kailua, Hawaii; seven grandchildren: Heather Harkulich Stapleton and her husband John, of Marlton, NJ, John M. Harkulich and his wife Christiana, of Oxford, OH, Katie Braymer Bodien and her husband David, of Sharon, PA, Jake Braymer and his wife Maria, of Burlington, WA, Cody Barretta and his wife Candace, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Kyle Barretta of Lake Forest,CA,  Chad Barretta and his wife Reanna, of Santa Anna, CA, as well as five great-grandchildren: Kalyn, Claire and Bryce Bodien and Noah and  Joseph Stapleton. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Brett of Waite Park, MN. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Doris Jenkins.
Donations in her memory may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 396 Buhl Blvd., Sharon, PA, 16146 or to Meals on Wheels c/o the same address as the church.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon, PA. at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9th, 2018, with Rev. Michael  Lozano officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
