Donald  A Urey, Sr

Donald A. Urey, Sr, age 86, of  Hermitage, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 at Sharon Regional Hospital.
Born December 12th, 1931 in Mercer Pa., he was the son of the late Calvin T. and Violet M. Macom Urey. He married the former Irene  Jane Ward on April 21st, 1951 and she survives at home.
Don was a 1949 graduate of Sharon High School and went to work for the Sharon Herald as a printer shortly after graduation, where he stayed untill his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the Sharon 1st United Methodist Church . Don was an avid golfer and walker, he enjoyed driving and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Don is survived by two daughters Dorene Cuba and her husband Thomas of Mohnton Pa. and Linda Darlington of Arlington VA, six grandchildren , Paul IV and Jennie Darlington, Matthew and Timothy Urey and Nathan and Jared Cuba also three great-grandchildren Kyle and Kari Cuba and Simon Darlington.
He was precedede in death by one son Donald A. Urey Jr.
Friends may call on Monday April 30th from 10:00 til 11:00 am at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC. 264 E. State Street, Sharon PA. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Douglas Dyson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
