Donald James Rust Jr.

Donald James Rust Jr., of 319 Superior St., Hermitage, PA, passed away in his home on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at 8:03 p.m. after an extended illness. He was 51.
Donald was born in Sharon, PA on November 19, 1963, the son of the late Donald J. Rust Sr. and Thomasina (Kepec) Rust. He had most recently worked at as a roofer at Alex Roofing New Castle, PA.,
Donald enjoyed riding, collecting and repairing motorcycles and bicycles along with sitting in his garage and listening to music. He loved to go camping at Nelson Ledges in Ohio. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He graduated from New Castle School of Trades.
He was the husband of Tammy (Putnam) Rust. whom he married on August 19, 1982 . She survives at home. Also surviving are his daughter: Taylor Rust and her fiance' Nate Swogger, of Hermitage, PA.and his son, Donald J. Rust III, and his wife, Christina, of Masury, OH, and 7 grandchildren, Noah, Jaylynn, Annily, and Hunter Rust, Christian Cameron Jr., Alexis and Dominick Auchter, along with his sister, Leah Enfield and her husband Russell, of Virginia, and his brother, Leo Rust, of Hartford, OH, and his mother-in-law, Ann Putnam of Sharon, PA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Clarence "Skip" Putnam and his brother-law, James Nelson.
Donations in his memory may be made to the family through the funeral home.

Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, December 16th, with Rev. Richard Carlson, pastor of Oakland Ave. Methodist Church officiating.
Interment at Westside Cemetery Sharpsville, PA.
