Donald E. Mook

Donald E. Mook, of  Hermitage, PA, passed away peacefully at 11:50 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014, in his home after a brief illness. He was 61.
Donald was born in Franklin, PA on September 6, 1952, the son of the late  Frances E. and Mabel L. (Crisman) Mook who survives him of Franklin, PA. He was a 1970 graduate of Franklin High School and Huntington College in Indiana, majoring in religious studies.
He had worked as cashier and stockperson at Walmart Hermitage.,Previously, he had worked as a computer programer at AK Steel for several years.
Don enjoyed watching sports an was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins fan. He liked to spend time on the computer and studying the Bible. He was of the United Bretheren faith.
Beside his mother, he is survived by his sister,  Judy A. Miller and her husband, Robert L. Miller of Elkhart, IN, along with three aunts, Ruth Snyder, of Polk, PA, Dorothy Wheeler, of Sugar Creek, PA, and Mary Crisman, of Franklin, PA. Several cousins also survive.
The family would like to thank the Visiting Angels of Sharon and SRHS Hspice and Palliative Care for their compassionate care during Don's illness.

Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at noon on Friday, April 18th,  with Rev. Edward Dailey, of Beth Emanuel Fellowship Ministries officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
