Dominic A. Camerlengo, Masury, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at 1:20 p.m.. in Masury, after an extended illness. He was 88.
Mr. Camerlengo was born in Masury, Oh, on June 18, 1926, the son of the late Geremia and Jenny (DiSilvestri) Camerlengo. He was a 1944 graduate of Brookfield High School.
Dominic was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart Sharon, PA., Previously, he was a lifelong, active member of St. Bernadette's Church in Masury before it closed. He had worked as a printer at The Herald newspaper in Sharon, PA., for 49 years retiring in 1992.
He enjoyed bowling and loved polka music and dancing. Dominic was a lifetime member of the Sharon Knights of Columbus. He was very devoted to his wife and family and will be sadly missed by them.
He married the former Mary (Resek) Camerlengo on Nov. 5, 1955. She survives at home. He is also survived by his two sons, Jerry Camerlengo, and his wife, Jacqueline, of Masury, OH., Dominic P. Camerlengo, and his wife, Valerie, of Port Charlotte, FL. his five grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Camerlengo, Heather Cline and her husband, Brian, and Ryan and Nicholas Camerlengo, and great- grandchildren, Anthony Cline and Aria Spohn. He is also survived by his sisters, Norina Farkas of Brookfield, OH., Jeanette Arcade of Masury, OH. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his a sister, Delphine Zarella.
