Diane L. Faverty

Diane L. Faverty,  of  Hermitage, PA passed away on Wed., April 30, 2014 at 5:45 p.m. in at UPMC University Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA , from complications after surgery. She was 56.
Diane was born in Sharon, PA  on November 20, 1957, the daughter of  Harold N. and Nancy D. (Miller) Faverty of  Hermitage. She was a 1976 graduate of Hickory High School. In her younger years, she had managed the kitchen at a county jail while living in Indiana .
She was an active member of Gentle Shepherd of the Nazarene Church, Hermitage.  Diane loved her church and had been involved with many activities including being a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Women's Ministry, helping with Children's Bible Quizing and Vacation Bible School, and being a greeter.
Diane enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidering, and reading, along with spending time with her family..
Besides her parents, she is survived by her two sisters,  Brenda Faverty of Hermitage, and Paula Babish and her husband, Gary, of South Jordan, UT, along with her niece, Kelly Babish, of Gallup. NM and her nephew, Justin Babish, of Seatle, WA.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday,  May 3, 2014, from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. at Gentle Shepherd of the Nazarene Church in Hermitage.
Funeral service at Gentle Shepherd of the Nazarene Church at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, with Rev. G. Martin Gentzler officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park Hermitage, PA.
