Diana Lynn Olenik Bauer

Diana Lynn Olenik Bauer,age 42, of Sharon, PA passed away on Friday, March 16, 2011 at 7:19 p.m. at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA after a sudden illness.
Diana was born in Warren, OH on October 18, 1969, the daughter of the late Donald E Olenik Sr.. and Linda K. (Whittaker ) Purvis who survives her , of Sharon., PA. She was a 1988 graduate of Sharon High School.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She enjoyed writing, playing cards, making people laugh and helping anyone she could. She attended the Cedar Avenue Bible Church in Sharon.
She was the widow of LeDon Lewis. her companion, who died in 2007. Her survivors include her daughter, Miranda Olenik , at home. and her son, Michael Olenik and his fiancee', Ashley Helmick, of Brookfield, OH. along with a step- daughter, LeDawn Lewis and her child, Nevaelah, of New Castle, PA, her two sisters, Betsy Williams and her husband, Mark, of Catawba Island, OH and Michelle Vigus and her husband, Roger, of Cranberry twp., PA and her three brothers, Don Olenik and his wife Diane, of Lake Milton, OH, John Olenik and his wife, Heather, of Minerva, OH and Sam Olenik, of Brookfield, OH, and a grandmother, Betty Olenik, of Columbiana, OH. Also survivng are two nieces, Ellie and Maddie, and five nephews, Eric, Zach, Sammy, Christopher, and Ethan.
Donations may be made to the family through the funeral home and may be sent to 264 East State St. Sharon, PA 16146.
Friends may call from 4:00 till 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State Street, Sharon, PA 16146.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Gene Blakeman of Cedar Avenue Bible Church officiating.
Cremation services provided by the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Hermitage, PA.
