Dennis R. Cole, Masury, OH passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 4:20 a.m., in Sharon Regional Health System surrounded by his family, after a brief illness. He was 69.
Dennis was born in Sharon, PA on April 2, 1943, the son of the late Romain (Tony) and Margaret (Jofrey) Cole. He attended Sharon Schools and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis..
He had worked as a paint mixer at the General Motors Plant in Lordstown, Ohio., for over 40 years .He had also worked at the former National Castings plant in Sharon. Dennis enjoyed going to flea markets, reading, and traveling. He was of the Catholic faith.
Surviiving are his wife, Devenna P. (Carrier) Cole., whom he married on June 16, 1962.Also surviving are his daughter, Amy D. Cole of Anapolis, MD and his sons, Dennis J."Jay" Cole and his wife, Jennifer, of Virginia Beach, VA. and Charles E. "Chuck" Cole, and his wife Luci, of Jacksonville, FL. Also survivng are 4 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren along with his brother, Timothy Cole and his wife, Debra, of Hartford,OH and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by an infant brother, Jamie Cole.
