Deborah A. Homchosky, age 74, of Sharpsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell PA.
Born March 16,1951, in Wilmington, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Lois (Sandlin) Stacy.
She married Edward J. Homchosky, on November 22, 1985, and he survives in Sharpsville.
Deborah graduated for Little Miami High School in S. Lebanon, OH, and went on to earn her nursing degree from Sharon Regional School of Nursing.
She worked for many years as a registered nurse, in both the Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital for ten years and Sharon Regional hospital for five years.
In her spare time, she liked to Crochet, shop and spend time with her family but most of all she loved helping others. She attended the Salvation Army Worship Center.
Surviving are two daughters, Hila Yeaples and her significant other, Ricky Root of Sharon, PA, and Terry L. (Martin) Castleman, of Hermitage, PA, a son Lerry Yeaples, of TN, three brothers, John (Jane) Stacy, of Morrow, OH, Dan Stacy, of Lebanon, OH, and Ricky Stacy, of Middletown, OH, five sisters, Vicki (Neal) Whittington, of S. Lebanon, OH, Florence Hedrick, of Lebanon, OH, Edith (Rob) Hanks, of Peebles, OH, Sally Sowers, of Georgetown, OH, and Lisa (Timothy) Pitts, of Hillsboro, OH, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Stacy and a sister, Lois Casey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA, 16146. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home with Major Laura Duesenberry, of the Salvation Army officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army ,660 Fisher Hill St. Sharon, Pa, 16146.
