Deanna M. Myers, age 82, of Sharon, PA, passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness, on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Born October 22, 1943, in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late, Andrew and Mary (Balley) Mihalson. She married Joseph Myers, June 17, 2011 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2021.

Deanna attended school in Sharon and worked as a cook and dishwasher for both Tara and the former Suburban Restaurant in Hermitage.

Her spare time was spent gardening, drawing and writing poems. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan, a former member of the Wheatland American Legion, Post 432 and was Catholic in faith.

Surviving her are three daughters, Kelly (James) Durham, of Sharon, PA, Kimberly Hawk and her fiancé, Kirk Lawler, of Hermitage, PA, and Barbara Hawk, of Franklin, PA, three sons, Kevin Mihalson, of Grapeville, PA, Keith Hawk, of Sharon, PA, and Brian Hawk, of Sharon, PA, a brother Andrew R. “Sonny” Mihalson, of Wheatland, PA, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Deanna was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Walsh and three sisters, Mary Ellen “Mike” Love, Theresa Blackburn and Joan Sposito.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, Pa. 16146. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
