Daniel L. Ost

Daniel  L. Ost, age 68, of Masury, OH, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Sharon Regional Hospital. Born June, 4, 1950 in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late Melvin and Helen Heckathorn Ost. He married the former Diane Foltz on June 22, 1974 and she survives at home.
Dan graduated from Sharon High School in 1969 and worked several years as a clerk for Hilltop Drive Thru and then went on to be in charge of the supply room at O'Briens Nursing Home for over 20 years untill his retirement.
Dan was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan, he loved sports, especially Hores Racing. He attended Covenant Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by a daughter Amy Ost of Texas, a son Robert Ost of Masury, OH, a brother Robert "Jack" and his wife Mary Ost of Sharon, PA, and a sister Catherine Stafford of Cranberry Township, PA.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, Pa. 16146. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Rick Stauffer officiating.
