Daniel Lee Gregory Sr.

Daniel Lee Gregory Sr., of 509 Syme Street Masury, OH, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. after an 18 month courageous battle with cancer. He was 53.
Daniel was born in Sharon, PA on June 11, 1961, the son of Dennis and Donna (Fette) Gregory of Sharon, PA. He attended Sharon Schools growing up . He had worked as an independent contractor at in the construction business.
Dan was mechanically inclined , working on cars along with taking things apart and putting them back together. He enjoyed drawing, playing billiards and spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
He was the loving husband of Doreen Lynn (Van Horn) Gregory, whom he met in 1987 and married on Aug. 31, 1996. She survives at home. Besides his wife and his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Ashley Meade and her husband, Justin of Warren, OH., and his son, Daniel L. Gregory Jr. and his wife, Krisa, of Masury, OH, and two grandsons, Landon and Xander Gregory, and four brothers, Dennis R. Gregory and his wife, Pam, of Portage, IN, Marvin Gregory and his wife, Joan, of Hermitage, PA., Michael Gregory of Greenville, PA., Robert Gregory and his wife, Barb, of Kyle, TX.. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Shirley Van Horn, of Masury, OH. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angel Meade, and s sister-in-law, Susan Gregory.

Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 6:00p.m. on Wednesday, July 9th, with Bishop Robert Palmer, from the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Youngstown, OH officiating. Cremation services provided by the funeral home.
