Cynthia L. Roberts

Cynthia L. Roberts, age 52, of Farrell, PA, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, in Sharon Regional Hospital.

Born October 8, 1972, in Sharon, PA, she is the daughter of R. Chris and Carol (Marx) Houck of Hermitage, PA. She married Charles L. Roberts on July 26, 1997, and he survives in Farrell, PA.

Cynthia graduated from Hickory High School in 1991 and then attended the University of Pittsburgh for two years, working on her Nursing Degree.

She worked for over 20 years at Sharon Regional Hospital as a secretary for the Woman's Center and was also a certified nursing assistant in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. She also tended bar at J.J's Lighthouse.

Cynthia enjoyed bowling and being around people. Some of her favorite times were just sitting around the campfire, talking with friends and family. She also liked to travel, especially to the beach in Ocean City, New Jersey and Florida. She was a member of the Farrell and Sharon VFW Clubs, the Slovak Home, the New Deal Club, the Slovenian Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by a daughter, Maja Lisa Roberts and a son, Charles "C.J." Roberts, both of Farrell, PA, a brother, Kevin (Eileen) Houck, of Ft. Bragg, N.C., two sisters, Corinne (David) McIE, of Mt. Morris, PA, and Cheryl Maurer, of Moon Twp., PA, and a grandson, Landon C. Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State, Sharon, PA, 16146. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home, with Pastor Sean Hall officiating.
