Chester J. "Lucky" Black, of 1470 Prospect Street Mineral Ridge, OH passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening, May 11, 2013, after an accident at his home. He was 47.
Mr. Black was born in Logansport, Indiana on May 18, 1965, the son of the late James L. Black Sr. and Eva Mae (Porterfield) Black. He was a 1983 graduate of Sharon High School.
He had worked as diesel mechanic at Cerni Motors, Niles, Ohio., for over 10 years. Previously, he had worked at Uniserve in Brookfield, OH . Chester loved art, bowling, hunting , fishing, working on vehicles and spending time with his children.
His survivors include his daughter, Marissa N. Black and his son, Spencer R. Black, both of Sharon, PA, his sister, Sue Ann Lutton and her husband, Brian, of New Castle, PA, his four brothers, Rusty Mitchell and his wife, Connie, Pete Black, James L. Black Jr., and his wife, Bennae, and Joseph F. Black and his wife, Carla, all of Sharon, PA. Also surviving are his former wife, Barbara (Mitcheltree) Black of Sharon, PA, a niece, Christina Ewing and her husband, Mark, also of Sharon,PA along with many step-nieces and step-nephews

Friends are invited to call Friday, May 17, 2013 from 5-7:00 p.m.. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home,264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146
Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 7:00p.m. on Friday, May 17th, with Rev. Edward Dailey, of Beth Emmanuel Fellowship Ministries officiating. Internment at Oakwood Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
