Carolyn L. Mcghee

Carolyn L. McGhee, of Farrell, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thurs, Oct. 12, 2017, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Youngstown, OH. She was 70.
Carolyn was born in DuBois, PA on August 19, 1947, the daughter of the late William and Sarah (Amich) Vogt. She attended Andover (OH) schools growing up.
Carolyn was a member of the local chapter of Parents of Murdered Children. She enjoyed playing any type of games, reading, writing poetry, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was the widow of Jack L. McGhee. who died on Aug. 3, 1999. She is survived by her three daughters, Tina McGhee & her companion Chuck Davis, of Farrell, PA, Christy Anderson & her companion Chris Dickson Sr. of Sharon, PA, and Laura McGhee & her fiance' Pernell Dixon, of Sharon, PA, her grandchildren, Nico, Kyle, Desiree, David, Samantha, JoLynn, Rhian, Paige, Seth, Brady, Chase, and Elise and her great-granddaughters, Marley and Anastasia. Also surviving are her sisters, Norma Pierce of Florida, Pamela Reed of Andover, OH , and Cheryl Blose of Florida along with a brother, Thomas Vogt and his wife Jackie, of Laurel, MD. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lisa Marie McGhee Dickson, a grandson, Aaron Klinger, a stepson, Jeff Zahniser, and a brother William Vogt.
Friends are invited to call Thurs., Oct 19, 2017 from 5-7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service, at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20th, with Rev. Cindy Swogger of the 1st Baptist Church of Sharon officiating. Interment at Westside Cemetery, S. Pymatuning twp. PA. Condolences to the family may be expressed by visiting stevensonfh1@verizon.net
