Carol J. Taylor

Carol J. Taylor, age 85, of Hermitage, PA, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, at her residence, with her loving family by her side.

Born February 12, 1939, in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sherman B. and Dorothy Mae (Sipe) Shrawder.

She married Delmar P. Taylor Sr., on June 8, 1958 and he preceded her in death on October 3, 2001.

Carol attended W. Middlesex High School and worked as a waitress for the Sharon Restaurant, was a caregiver in several private homes and also worked as an aid for the Palms of Pasadena Hospital in Florida.

In her spare time, she enjoyed Bingo, dancing and cooking. She was very family oriented and liked feeding everyone. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, in Sharpsville.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Barb Pangburn and Dorothy Wrighter, both of Hermitage, PA, three sons, Delmar P. Taylor Jr. and Gary J. Taylor, both of Hermitage, PA, and Sherman R. Taylor, of Masury, OH, a sister, Darlene K. Shrawder, of Hermitage, PA, and several grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her Parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother Charles O. Shrawder.

There will be no visitation at this time, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
