Brenda B. DeSantis, of Sharpsville, PA, passed away on Thursday evening, November 5, 2015, at 5:45 p.m., in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell, after a brief illness. She was 74.
Brenda was born in Sharon, PA on September 14, 1941, the daughter of the late Paul and Florence G. (Rhing) Miller. She was a graduate of Sharon High School.
Brenda was a member of St. Joseph's Church of Sharon, where she had served as a Eucharistic minister.
She had worked as a legal aid at Evans, Garvey, Lackey, & Ochs in Sharon., for several years. Previous to that, she had worked in banking for 35 years as an account manager at the former National City Bank in Sharpsville, PA.
Being an animal lover, Brenda loved to feed the ducks at Buhl Park. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Mari Lisa DeSantis, of Baltimore, MD and two sons, Michael DeSantis, and his wife, Deborah, of New Castle, PA,and David DeSantis, and his wife, Aimee, of Canfield, OH, along with five grandchildren, Amber, Tailor, Dylan, Alexis, and Autumn DeSantis. Also surviving are her brother, Donald Miller, and his wife, Susan, of California. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Warrender.
