Bradley R. Grove, 61, passed away on Fri. Oct. 14, 2016 at his home in Sharon after a brief illness. He left this life while surrounded by his family.
Brad was born in Romulus, NY on October 22, 1954, to Phyllis (Karr) Grove. He graduated from Sharon High School in 1972. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force and the Air Force Reserve. Brad is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He had worked at Wheatland Tube in Sharon for the past 14 years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed spending his mornings working on crossword puzzles with his wife, Mary. The two were happily married for 39 years. He was a member of the Sharpsville VFW Post 6404.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Mary (Glass) Grove and his loving daughters, Melissa Bittler and Fiance', Jon Norlin of Johnsonburg, PA and their four children Alec, Aidan, Avery, and Devon; Kimberly George and husband Justin, of Hermitage, PA and their children Aida, Marcus and Easton; Ashley Miller and husband Andrew, of Pittsburgh, PA and their daughter Charlotte; and Janet Grove and her companion, Evan Logan, of Alexandria, VA. He also leaves behind a sister, Brenda Nasser and her husband, Nick, of Vienna, OH, and his faithful dog Abby. Brad was preceded by his mother, Phyllis Grove and his brother, Barry Grove.
Donations in his memory may be made to Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, 1955 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage, PA 16148.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Oct 19, 2016 from 4:00 til 7:00 p.m. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20th, with Rev. Craig Thompson of East Side Baptist Church officiating. Internment at St. Rose Cemetery in Hermitage with Military Honors presented by the Farrell, Wheatland, West Middlesex Honor Guard.
