Blair Steven Kennell, of Hermitage, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April, 19, 2016, at 10:55 a.m., in Countryside Convalescent Home, in Mercer, after an extended illness. He was 58.
Blair was born in Wilkinsburg, PA on December 26, 1957, the son of the late Robert and Antoinette (Scrimma) Kennell. He was a 1977 graduate of Mercer High School.
He had worked as press operator at Autosoft, West Middlesex, PA. He had previously worked at Victor Printing in Sharon.
Blair liked to hunt and fish, and do trapping. He enjoyed music and played guitar in numerous area bands over the years.
He was the husband of Dororthy M. (Bornick) Kennell, whom he married on April 15, 1989. She survives at home. Also surviving are his two daughters, Belinda and Maureen Kennell, both of of Hermitage, PA, a grandson, Todd Allen Titus Jr., two sisters, Constance Moore, and her husband Brian, of Palmetto, FL, and Carol Camp and her husband, Peter, of Mercer, PA, and his seven brothers, Robert Kennell and his wife, Anne, of Grove City, PA, Thomas Kennell and his wife, Deborah, of Fredonia, PA, William Kennell and his wife, Amy, of Pittsburgh, PA, James Kennell and his wife, Diane, of Mercer, PA, Joseph Kennell and his wife, Jodi, of Mercer, PA, Lawrence Kennell of Sharpsville, PA., Brian Kennell of Hermitage, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Heart Church, Mercer. PA. at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25th, with Rev. James J. Kennelley officiating. Funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Internment will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Jefferson twp., PA .
