Belle E. Franek Unger, of 1111 Bechtol Ave., Sharon, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2012, at 5:40 p.m. in Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage, after a brief illness. She was 85..
Belle was born in Sharon, PA on March 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Stafford) Ringer. She attended Sharon Schools growing up and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church .
She had worked as a cashier at the former Southside Market in Masury, OH. Previously, she had worked at the former Uptown Corner Market and the former Tastee Bakery both in Sharon. Belle enjoyed walking and going to concerts at Buhl Farm Park, going on bus trips, watching old movies, and spending time with her family.
She was the wife of Harry M. Unger. whom she married on Oct. 21, 2006. He survives at home. Her first husband, John M. Franek Sr., passed away on Aug. 13, 1979.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kathy A. Kane and her husband, Patrick, of Sharpsville, PA; her two sons, Michael T. Franek and his wife, Renee, of Sharpsville, PA and John M. Franek Jr. and his wife, Niki, of Sharon along with two step-daughters; Kathleen Laffin and her husband, Maurice , of Boston, Mass. and Susan Primerano and her husband, Tim, of Scranton, PA, and two step-sons; Rodney Unger and his companion, Annie Lago, of Sharon, PA and Donald Unger and his wife, Beth, of Pittsburgh, PA along with 12 grandchildren, 8, great-grandchildren, and her sister, Rose Skowronski,and her husband, Hank of Talmadge, OH. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, and her first husband, she was preceeded in death by an infant son, Mark A. Franek and her brother, Edward Ringer.

Friends are invited to call Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 Easdt State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
Funeral service at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, PA. at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7th, 2012 with Rev. Glenn Whitman of St. Joseph's Catholic Church officiating.
Internment at St. Rose Cemetery in Hermitage, PA.
