Beatrice E. Kloss

Beatrice E. Kloss, of The Ridgewood, 1 Elston Way, Hermitage, PA, formerly of Glenwood Dr., Sharon, PA , died peacefully on Dec. 2, 2014 with her children by her side, at St. Paul's Continuing Care Community in Greenville, PA after a brief period of declining health. She was 95.
Beatrice was born in Irwin, PA on July 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Boyd and Elizabeth (Dyson) Eisaman. She was a 1937 graduate of Sharon High School. She was the widow of Harold Kloss. whom she married on May 11, 1940. He died in 1983.
Beatrice was an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Hermitage, PA. and was an Elder Emeritus of the church.
She had worked at at the former Schneider & Thornton-Hall grocery stores and also had worked at the former Whitmer-Smith Store in Sharon. After graduating from high school, she had worked at the former Westinghouse plant in Sharon
Beatrice was a member of the former Sharon and Hermitage Women's Clubs and was Past-President of both groups. She had been a volunteer for the Keystone Blind Association, and the Shenango Valley AARP. In her younger years she was a PTA officer and assisted with the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. She loved to sew and doing crafts including making candles. She baked and decorated wedding cakes also.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Amy Ayers and her husband , Harry , of Apollo, PA, Sally Marrie and her husband, Phil, of Hermitage, PA, and Pamela Monaco and her husband, Joseph, of Erie, PA.and her son, Jeffry Kloss and his wife, Catharine, of Johnstown, PA. along with her grandchildren, Philip Marrie III, and his wife, Lisa, Marc Marrie, and his wife, Tina, Melissa Barron and her husband, Nick, Harry Ayers Jr. and his wife, Rayanna, Ingrid Kloss, Daniel Kloss, Mathew Monaco and his wife, Abby, and Nicholas and Michael Monaco and eight great-grandchildren. besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Davis and Deloris McKendry.
