Barbara J. Pritchard Ser

Barbara J. Pritchard Ser, of 15 W. Connelly Blvd., Sharon., passed away unexpectedly in her residence, on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013. She was 60.
Barbara was born in Sharon, PA on August 7, 1952, the daughter of the late David McLaren, and Ruth Evelyn (Hassell) McLaren who survives her of Sharon. She was a 1971 graduate of Sharon High School and later graduated from the former Shenango Valley School of Business.
She was the widow of Howard A. Ser. whom she married on Sept. 7, 2012. He died Nov. 20, 2012. Barbara loved football and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting and making Christmas stockings. She will be remembered as someone who was always willing to help family and friends.
Besides her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Ace and her husband,Keith, of Greenville, PA., Melissa Lehman and her husband, Chad, of Sunbury, OH, and Marylee Diamond of Delaware, OH., along with her 9 grandchildren. Also survivng are her sister, Beth McLaren and her brother, David McLaren, both of Sharon, PA and three nephews.
Donations in her memory may be made to the family though the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Sharpsville VFW Post 6404, Sharpsville, PA from 2-6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21st 2013. Cremation will take place. Funeral arrangements by the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State Street, Sharon, PA 16146.
