Barbara M. Douglas Neff

Barbara Marie Douglas Neff, of Sharon, PA, formerly of Rootstown, OH, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015, at 1:40 a.m. in Sharon Regional Health System, after a brief illness. She was 71.
Barbara was born in Wadsworth, OH on January 24, 1944, the daughter of the late William Earl and June E. Douglas who survives her of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and attended Hammel Business College in Akron, OH.
She had worked as a clerk at the former Metz Bakery in Sharon. In her younger years she had also worked as a bank teller. Barbara enjoyed making crafts and going to yard and garage sales. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was the widow of John W. Neff, whom she married on Nov. 5, 1966. He died March 20, 1982. She is survived by a daughter, Dana Neff and a son, Michael Neff, both of Sharon, PA., 8 grandchildren, Monique Lopez, Jayne, Bobby, Marlee, Kelly, Fred, Kamille, and Danielle Sherretts and 4 sisters, Beverly Martin, and her husband, H. Lynn, of Downingtown, PA., Cynthia Danzo and her husband, Tony, of Dennison, OH., Linda Brooks, and her husband, Wiley, and Betty Douglas, and a brother, Bill Douglas, and his wife, Eileen, all of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
A gathering time will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church , 301 W. State St., Sharon, PA.
Memorial Service at First Baptist Church , Sharon, PA. at 7:00p.m. on Wednesday, April 15th, with Rev. John Trojak officiating . Interment at Grandview Cemetery, Ravenna, OH. Cremation services provided by Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA. Condolences to the family may be expressed by visiting stevensonfuneralhome.net
