B. Louise Hassan,of Hermitage, PA, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at 5:00 a.m. , in Clepper Manor, Sharon, after a brief illness. She was 85.
Louise was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Andrew and Susan (Hiryak) Behary. She graduated from Sharon High School.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church Sharon, PA 16146., where she was a former Vestery member and of the Women's Bible Class. She had taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Episcopal Church Women. Louise enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking, vegetable and fruit canning, and doing word puzzles.
She was the wife of James J. Hassan, whom she married on June 11, 1949. He survives her at home. Also survivng are her daughter, Cynthia Louise Hassan, of Hermitage, PA, James Carl Hassan and his wife, Mary Beth, of Greensburg, PA, a grandson, Jason Hassan and his companion, Erin Cotham, and a great-granddaughter, Hayden Everly Hassan, all of Nashville, TN, and his sister, Andrea Blazer and her husband, Milburn, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Funeral service at St. John's Episcopal Church, Sharon, PA at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12th, with Rev. Adam T. Trambley officiating. Interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Jefferson twp., PA.
