Arthur E Pavlakis

Arthur E. Pavlakis, age 72, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, in UPMC Passavant Hospital. Born November 28, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Gus and Helen (Blummeritis) Pavlakis.

Art was a 1965 graduate of Sharon High School and also graduated in 1987 from Penn State, Shenango, with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration.

A life long member of Sacred Heart Church in Sharon where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector and Alter Server. He was also a member of St. Joseph's Church in Sharon, PA.

Art worked at Westinghouse Electric Corporation for twelve and half years, Greenwood Pharmacy, where he was a Pharmacy Tech. for 18 Years and most recently for UPMC Horizon Hospital in Farrell as a custodian.

Art is survived by a sister Cynthia Tarbay Roof of Courtland, Ohio and a nephew, Stephan Tarbay.

A gathering time will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, Pa. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 PM from the funeral home with Fr. Tom Whitman officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery.
