Arlene L. Root

Arlene L. Root, age 67, of Vienna, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at her residence.

Born January 27, 1958, in Greenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Arlene (Sweitzer) Mitchell. She married Edward E. Root Sr., on October 22, 1982 and he survives in Vienna, OH.

Arlene attended Badger High School in Kinsman, OH, and worked for CCL Container in Sharpsville, PA, as a lab Tech for 15 years.

She enjoyed Bingo and going camping.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Robert (Samantha) Phillips, of South Carolina and Edward (Leah) Root Jr., of Brookfield, OH, two brothers, John (Sophie) Mitchell, of Niles, OH, and Dennis Mitchell, of Florida, two sisters, Virginia DeArment, of Kentucky, and Carol Smith, of Berlin Center, OH, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.
