Arlene Lin Hutley

Arlene Hutley, age 92, formerly of Logan Avenue, Sharon, PA, passed away on Friday, September 21st, 2018 in Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Grove City, PA. Born November 20th, 1925 in Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith Thorn. She married Joseph Abrey Hutley on January 12, 1952 and he preceded her in death on November 28th, 2012.
Arlene worked for Protected life as a secretary, she also worked in the Dupont factory during WW II and worked in a photo studio when she was younger coloring photos.
She liked crafts, birds and giraffes and was a avid reader. She was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir.
Arlene is survived by two sons, Paul Hutley and his fiancee' Kathy Vandersyde of Butler, PA, and James and his wife Doris Hutley of Camphill, Pa.
She was preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Muenzel.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 from 12:00 pm till 1:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 369 Buhl Blvd. Sharon, PA, a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Michael Lozano officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, PA.
