Angela L. Zomparelli of 34 N. Mercer Ave., Sharpsville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown. She was 79.
Mrs. Zomparelli was born May 8, 1933, in Sharpsville, a daughter of Nicholas and Olivia "Laura" Cataldo Rosati.
She was a 1951 graduate of Sharpsville High School and was a member of St. Bartholomew's Church, Sharpsville.
As an employee at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp., she had worked in the office in her younger years. She also was a St. Bartholomew's Church volunteer secretary for Confraternity of Christian Doctrine classes while her children were growing up.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family, who meant everything to her. She was very strong in her faith and loved by all who knew her.
Angela is survived by her mother, Olivia "Laura" Rosati, Masury; her husband, Dominick P. Zomparelli, whom she married May 22, 1954; her daughters, Laurie Burt, wife of Stephen, Sharpsville; and Vicky Davies, wife of Thomas, Sharpsville; her sons, James Zomparelli and his wife Rona, Sharon; Dominick Zomparelli and his wife Lori, Hermitage; and Jeffrey Zomparelli, Sharpsville; her grandchildren, Joshua and Nichole Burt; Anthony and Kayla Burt; Michael and Ashley Burt; Dominique and Thomas Davies; Dominick and Nicholas Zomparelli; and Marlana and Shadi Atallah; her stepgrandchildren, Ranae Jackson; and Jimmy and Joshua Aulet; her great-grandsons, Brayden, Logan and Zachary Burt; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Isaiah and Isabella Jackson; and Cameron.
He also leaves a brother, George Rosati, Masury; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Nicholas Rosati.
Deeply missed by all, she was a loving and caring person to all who knew her, especially her family and close friends.
