Andrew C. Delorenzo

Andrew C. DeLorenzo, of 7193 W. Market St., Mercer, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 30, 2013 at 4:37 a.m. in Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. He was 77.
Andrew was born in New Castle, PA on January 19, 1936, the son of the late Andrew and Doris (Hoover) DeLorenzo. He was a 1953 graduate of New Castle High School.
He was an active member of 1st United Methodist Church of Sharon, having served as head usher, and chairman of the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee,along with driving the church van for many years. He had worked as a truck driver at Dean Foods, in S. Pymatuning twp ., for over 40 years.
Enjoying antique cars, Andrew was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America and its' Shenango Valley Chapter, and the National DeSoto Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was the husband of Kathleen D. (Jones) DeLorenzo. whom he had been together with for 38 years. She survives at home. Also survivng are his daughter, Becky Yoho and her husband, Nick, of New Castle, PA., and his sons, Andrew M. DeLorenzo and his wife, Tami of Wampum, PA., Charles DeLorenzo , and his wife, Stephanie,of Monroe, GA, and Jeffrey DeLorenzo and his wife, Heather,of Mercer, PA. Also survivng are his six grandchildren, Jesse, Kellie, Zachary, Avery, Tyler, and Alaina DeLorenzo along with his brother -in -law and sister-in -law, Douglas and Toni Jones of Fowler, OH.

Friends are invited to call Tuesday, April 2, 2013, from 4-7:00 p.m.. at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St., Sharon, PA 16137 and Wednesday 10:00- 11:00 a.m.. at 1st United Methodist Church of Sharon.
Funeral service at 1st United Methodist Church of Sharon at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, April 3rd, with Rev. Richard Roberts officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park Hermitage, PA.
