Amanda Lee Doty
Amanda Lee Portal Doty, age 41, of Elyria, Ohio, formerly of Sharon, PA. went home to her Heavenly Father and her daddy on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Sharon Regional Hospital. Born December 27, 1977 she was the daughter of the late Alexander L. Portal Jr. and Margaret (Peg) Dickson Portal of Sharon.
She married Terry A. Doty Jr. on August 9, 1997 and he survives at home in Elyria Ohio.
Amanda graduated from Sharon High School and worked as a clerk at Sparkle Market. She was a huge Steelers Fan and loved sharks. She Participated in Girls Scouts when she was young and again while her girls were growing up. She loved spending time with her girls.
She is a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon.
She is survived by her loving daughters Rayanne Marie Doty of Sharon, PA, and Victoria Lynn Doty and her fiance' Sean Newkirk of Kent, Ohio and a brother Alexander L. Portal III of Lead, South Dakota.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Sharon PA, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 pm with the Rev. Rick Stauffer officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of Harold W. Stevenson F.H. LLC. 264 E. State Street, Sharon, Pa. 16146
