Albert Linn Hassel
Albert L. " Linn " Hassel, age 76, of Sharon, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 1st, 2018 in Sharon Regional Hospital. Born July 13, 1942 in Sharon PA, he was the son of the late Margaret Hougelman Hassel. He married the former Gloria Astone on October 27th, 1962 and she survives at home.
Albert was employed for over 30 years at Sharon Steel as a Weighmaster, until its closing and then worked for Caparo Steel. He also was a self-employed cement contractor for over 20 years.
Albert enjoyed woodworking and built many nice things but specialized in Lighthouses and Wishing Wells. He loved bowling and telling jokes but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include four daughters, Carla Hassel Fisher of Sharon PA, Tina Hassel (Robert) Barnett of Masury Oh., Kimberly (David) Monnin of Sharon, PA, and Terri Hassel Richards of Sharon PA. and one son Albert Hassel Jr. "A.J

of Denver Colorado, two brothers Jeffery Hassel and Randy Hassel and a sister Shirley (John) Chlpka, all of Hermitage, Pa., 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon , Pa.,16146. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the funeral Home with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Associaton, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, Texas, 75231.
