A. Leroy Moyer

A. Leroy Moyer, age 83, of Hermitage, PA, formerly of Sharpsville and Jamestown, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by family.

Born October 24, 1940, in Sharon, PA, to the late Arden L. and Ada (Adams) Moyer. He married the former Norma Shaw on September, 13, 1991, and she survives at home.

Leroy was a 1959 graduate of Sharon High School and started his employment working for General American for 25 years, after retiring he was a caretaker of the Pymatuning Outboard Motor Club for 21 years.

Leroy loved fishing and camping in Florida.

In addition to his wife he is survived by children, Matt Moyer (Billie), of Clark, PA, Marlow McBride (Butch), of Penn Hills, PA, Rhonda Rhodes, of Kenly, NC, Robert Rhodes (Gayla), of Mercer, PA, and Raymond Rhodes (Beverly), of Murrysville, PA, a brother, Charles Moyer (Beverly), of Greenville, SC, and a sister, Louella Moore, of Mercer, PA, and grandchildren, Chris Rhodes, of Raleigh, NC and David Moyer, of Clark, Pa.

Per Leroy's wishes there will be no visitation or services.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home LLC, 264 E. State Street, Sharon, Pa. 16146.
